Don't come for sit down if you're in a hurry! And, don't get the scrambled eggs. They taste like powdered eggs. I can say, they have a good Belgian waffle, and use real maple syrup.

Service was friendly and quick! Good selection of food. Servings were ginormous, my sister and I could have shared. Food was delicious! We had a special of chicken tenders with fries and pie (strawberry rhubarb! We enjoyed sangria--the pitcher was a bit too much for us though worth the money compared to individual glasses! We highly recommend it!

Visited Omaha last week for a family wedding and by recommendation checked out Wheatfields. What a great recommendation! We were a party of 7 and went for breakfast (got there before 9am) and no line; we were seated right away. I ordered a hot chocolate and it was so smooth and velvety and looks so much better in real life than the picture --so tasty too. Our table ordered two mini roll samplers and they were divine; you get a variety of mini rolls (orange, apple, brown sugar, pecan, frosting). So good. I ordered the biscuit and gravy plate that comes with sausages, two fried eggs, and gravy. Sooo good and what big servings; my dish could have easily fed two people. Highly recommended! Plus their bakery was open too and everything looked and smelled delicious. Wish we had a Wheatfields near us!

My absolute favorite place for brunch. Everything is incredible. I have to be careful not to let my tears of joy get on the food and mar the taste. Great service, fun location, can't recommend enough

Lunch was good, desserts were fantastic. What bugged us was the presence of house flies around our table that forced us to constantly attempt to shoo them away and the fact that the booth adjacent to us sat unbussed for a majority of our meal, even though several waiters walked by on numerous occasions when their section had no customers.

Great restaurant!! HUGE menu with LOTS of choose from! Definitely something for everyone! The breakfast, lunch and dinner is all wonderful! The bakery selection is incredible. From pastries to cakes, they've got it all. The Strawberry wedding cake will melt in your mouth! Highly recommend!

First time I've ever been and it was WONDERFUL!!! Freshly baked pastries abound and the menu items are amazing!! Very large portions too! Well worth the money and the drive!Plus there's no place quite like the Old Market in Omaha! Historic buildings, unique shoppes and wide variety of street entertainment make this area delightful to visit! Go for brunch at Wheatfields and stay to explore then go back for dessert!!!

Wonderful food. Great quiche. Their strudel is wonderful. There were 5 of us eating, we all had something different, and we all said what we had was great. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Relatively short wait for a table on a busy Sunday morning. Table seating was packed in the dining room and pretty uncomfortable. Booths looked better but didnt get one. It was so loud I couldn't hear myself think. Service was pretty slow and clunky. Food was OK, nothing bad, nothing really great. The country sausage gravy was the best part and they skimped big time on it. Their pies and pastries looked delicious. Will try a different place next time I'm in Omaha.

Comfortable Casual Homestyle CuisinePerfectly located in the Old Market on the corner of 12th and Jones. The decor: Very Traditional German style, bright yellow, tasteful and modest, inviting. The service: I was promptly greeted and placed my order. About 5 minutes later my Sloppy Joe on a Fresh Honey Bun was served.(Refer to my photos) About two minutes later I was presented with my check.. This seemed rude to bring out check so soon...A Very un-European move. The Food: The sloppy joe was a good hearty sandwich. Slightly sweet, not too salty. The big steak fries tasted like frozen fries anyone could by at walmart. The bakery items looked delicious but will save that for next time. Overall it was good hearty lunch but I won't get the steak fries next time. If this review was helpful please click the like button.

Service was excellent, food was wonderful. The Early bird special $5 a plate is a great deal. The large menu is somewhat pricey.

This is the best american food joint in Omaha. All items are super delicious. The bakery and restaurant both are the best. You order anything, it is just the best. Do visit whenever you are in downtown.

Delicious. Despite being short staffed and swamped with customers, we only waited 10 minutes, had a great brunch, and enjoyed our visit. Inside of the cafe was a bit warm in the direct sunlight, but overall an excellent place.

I was disappointed here today. The wait to get service after seating myself was 10+ minutes.Ordered the Blackstone Rueben. The toasted bread was soggy. Fries were frozen steak fries. For $12.99, I expected it to be better. The server, Raychelle was very friendly. The one positive here today.

The food was fantastic (get the chicken) desserts were scrumptious, the drinks were amazing and best yet I have a severe pepper allergy, they took amazing care of me and made sure I could eat a delicious meal and be safe. TOTALLY Recommend it

This spot was very busy when we arrived, but we had called ahead for our large group. Our food was served quickly as we had also ordered ahead. I got the omelet and it was cold. Not room temp, but cold to the point where I'm sure they cook them ahead and then warm them up. Half of the omelet was warm around the outside, but the other half and the middle was cold.
